Hello,
My name is Jason McKenzie. I am a drummer/tabla player/percussionist/producer from Austin, TX.
I also DJ Indian and Middle-Eastern tracks while performing live tabla under the name "Sunray Project". Periodically, Sunray Project shows will feature a live world musician onstage along with original tracks that I produce myself. You can hear samples of some of my remixing/producing/DJing here.
I play drums and contribute compositions for the world music band Atash.
I also tour with Texas songwriting legend Billy Joe Shaver.
